Help mitigate flu season, schedule your flu shot today
Getting vaccinated for the flu virus goes a long way toward keeping you, your loved ones and the greater UF community healthy. The Student Health Care Center (SHCC) offers a variety of appointment times and locations to get a flu vaccine and adds new options frequently.
Faculty, staff and students can visit the SHCC website to view available vaccine locations and to schedule an online appointment. COVID vaccines — including the new bivalent COVID booster — are also available and can be given at the same time as the flu vaccine.

The Coalition of Disabled Gators and Allies aims to build and sustain a community and safe space for people with disabilities — or who identify as disabled — as well as advocates at UF.
Offering support to our UF family in the wake of Hurricane Ian
The University of Florida is a statewide enterprise, with UF/IFAS, UF Health and other research locations extending into every corner. Among the UF facilities most affected by Hurricane Ian are the Range Cattle Research and Education Center in Ona, located about an hour east of Sarasota, and the Florida Museum’s Randell Research Center on Pine Island. Before and during Hurricane Ian, some UF/IFAS employees worked in their county’s emergency operations centers or shelters and are already collecting assessment of the damages post-storm.
