City of Gainesville receives federal award to fund new EV charging stations

The City of Gainesville has been awarded $11.65 million in grant funding through the federal Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Program, enabling the city to build 47 new electric vehicle, or EV, charging stations throughout the area.
