How the Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit Saved Lara’s Life

Lara Mehta’s morning routine was interrupted in August 2024 by a stroke that left her unable to speak. Thanks to the UF Health Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit, Lara was quickly diagnosed with a blood clot and received treatment at UF Health Shands.
