The 2016 funding cycle for Technology Fee grants is now open. “Tech Fee” funding is awarded to projects that can enhance the technology used in UF’s instructional environment. Recent Tech Fee awards include the Levin College of Law Library book scanner, MADE@UF expansion into Infinity Hall, and the iPad checkout service in the Libraries.
Complete information about the money available, the process for submitting a concept paper and important dates in the 2016 Tech Fee submission cycle are all available on the Technology Fee website.
Anyone in the UF community with an idea that fits the submission guidelines is strongly encouraged to apply for funding. All concept papers must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12. Funding awards will be announced before the end of the spring 2016 semester.
Please contact Anne Allen, support administrator for the Technology Fee Advisory Committee, with any questions about the submission process.
