Celebrate early African American film with the George A. Smathers Libraries

The George A. Smathers Libraries will present a film screening of The Flying Ace (1926) as part of their early African American film celebration. The film is inspired by the life of stunt pilot Bessie Coleman. Barbara Wingo of Norman Studios will introduce the film and a question-and-answer period will follow. The screening will take place on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
