Olga Weider selected to join NACUBO

Each year the National Association of College and University Business Officers, or NACUBO, selects a cohort to join a NACUBO Fellows Program — a one-year leadership development program for applicants identified as exceptional in their current role and displaying high potential for advancement.

We are proud to announce that Assistant Vice President and University Controller Olga Weider, was selected to join the 2023-2024 cohort as the first University of Florida representative. It is an honor to be one of the seventeen business officers selected from a nationwide search to participate in this immersive program. Over the next year, NACUBO Fellows will work with higher education presidents, provosts, chief business officers and other experts to collaboratively identify innovative approaches that address institutional challenges.

Olga Weider is the University of Florida’s first female Assistant Vice President and Controller, supporting UF Enterprise vision through strategic, predictive, data-informed financial service and guidance. She joined the University in 2017 with extensive previous experience as a Certified Public Accountant, and Controller. Olga is a lifelong learner who is committed to solutions-based strategic planning and collaborative teamwork across campus community. She currently serves as the Finance Team Chair for the Empowering UF initiative to modernize UF’s business processes and administrative information systems across the enterprise.
