UF partners with NSF NRAO to bring cutting-edge astronomy and STEM education to Florida

UF and the National Science Foundation’s National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NSF NRAO) signed an agreement to collaborate on a potential Florida site for the Next Generation Very Large Array (ngVLA)—a powerful new radio telescope system that, if built, will explore the universe with unmatched detail, and serve as a hands-on learning hub for students, teachers, and the public.
