2024 Florida Government Productivity Award winner announced

The Supporting Students in Distress training, a collaboration between UFHR Training & Organizational Development and the Counseling and Wellness Center, has been awarded a 2024 Florida Government Productivity Award.

The Florida Government Productivity Awards (formerly known as the Florida TaxWatch Productivity Awards) annually recognize state employees who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to finding innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in public service.

This year, ten awards were presented to individuals and teams throughout Florida for their achievements in innovation and productivity improvements. UF’s award-winning team was recognized at a ceremony held in Tallahassee on Sept. 24 and received a plaque and cash award in recognition of their hard work in creating added value for both the state of Florida and the University of Florida.
