UF Health pediatric expert answers questions about COVID-19 booster shots for kids ages 12-15

Two federal agencies have approved booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for 12- to 15-year-old children. Sonja A. Rasmussen, M.D., a professor in the departments of pediatrics and epidemiology at the UF College of Medicine and the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions, discussed what parents need to know about the Pfizer booster shot.
