UF Health eminent scholar recognized by Florida Inventors Hall of Fame

William Hauswirth, Ph.D., UF Health College of Medicine professor emeritus of ophthalmology, will be inducted into the Florida Inventors Hall of Fame in October for his pioneering work in gene therapies to prevent blindness and his research in restoring vision in the functionally blind.
