GET140 Medicare
Friday, July 20, 9-11 a.m.
This program will provide unbiased information on Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare supplemental insurance, long-term care insurance, prescription assistance and Medicare fraud. In addition, you will be provided information on how to go online with the Social Security Administration.
GET512 Retirement Strategy for Women
Monday, Aug. 27, 2-4 p.m.
Focusing on overcoming the financial hurdles specific to women as they plan and invest for the future, this seminar emphasizes the importance of having a personal plan, a sound strategy and a consistent approach to saving. It provides information to help women of all ages accumulate the money they’ll need for a financially secure retirement.
GET573 Florida Retirement System/DROP Workshop
Friday, Aug. 17, 9-11 a.m.
This workshop will provide an understanding of the Florida Pension Plan and the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) through a review of current tools, including videos and webcasts, and pertinent topics, such as how to use online resources, apply for retirement or DROP, convert your health and life coverage and more.
