Florida’s role in the rescue of America’s bird

UF history Professor Jack E. Davis, Ph.D., has made a career out of writing about big environmental topics. His new book, The Bald Eagle: The Improbable Journey of America’s Bird, details many interesting facts about the bald eagle including several about the role Floridians — and UF scientists in particular — played in bringing the bird back from the brink of extinction.
