Newly discovered trigger for major depression opens possibilities for better treatments

A recent discovery by scientists at The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology helps improve understanding of the biological causes of major depression and could accelerate efforts to develop new, faster-acting medications for hard-to-treat mood disorders.
