UF researchers pilot ‘information prescription’ for cancer patients
Ninety-three percent of patients with a new cancer diagnosis were exposed to misinformation about treatments, according to a recent UF Health Cancer Center study. Authors Carma Bylund, Ph.D., and Naomi Parker, Ph.D., are piloting an “information prescription” in response to steer patients to sources of evidence-based information.
