Early voting for the primary elections start Aug. 5

The University of Florida and the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections are hosting early voting on-campus for the UF community and other Alachua County registered voters, at the Career Connections Center on the ground floor of the Reitz Union from Aug. 5 to Aug. 17, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Early voting offers a more convenient and flexible alternative than waiting to vote on Election Day. It can reduce wait times and give voters and poll workers ample opportunity to address any issues. Early voting is especially beneficial for those who may be out of town or unable to cast a ballot on Election Day. If you wait to cast your ballot on Election Day, you must vote in your assigned precinct.

Voters can park in the Welcome Center Parking Garage next to the Reitz Union. Remember to bring your picture ID with a signature. Avoid delays at the polls by updating your voter registration at Registertovoteflorida.gov. Not in Gainesville? Visit Vote.org to find your designated early voting location.
