Roadway improvements address pedestrian safety near campus

The University of Florida, the City of Gainesville and the Florida Department of Transportation recently announced a new series of pedestrian safety initiatives that aim to mitigate serious injuries and fatalities along University Avenue and make the streets and roadways surrounding campus safer and more accessible for everyone.
