TEP scholarships offer the possibility of more affordable higher education
Faculty and staff with dependent children are encouraged to apply for the Tuition Exchange Scholarship Program, or TEP. The program provides dependent children the opportunity to attend a participating Tuition Exchange college or university at a significant tuition reduction rate. Full-time, permanent status employees — except for OPS and postdocs — are eligible to apply for the program. The application deadline is Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. (EST), prior to the year of desired enrollment.
- In this case October 31, 2021, for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 academic year.
- Entrance application fees and fulfilling admission requirements to the college or university is the responsibility of the applicant.
- The cost to the university employee to participate in the TEP is $5,000 per year, paid upon acceptance to the TEP by the participating institution. Admission to the college or university does not guarantee TEP qualification by that institution.
The Tuition Exchange Scholarship Program is a scholarship opportunity rather than a fringe benefit. The Office of the Provost will make every effort to assist employees during the application process, but it can neither predict the likelihood nor guarantee the acceptance of dependent children into the program. Should you have questions, please email UFTEP@aa.ufl.edu.
