UF/IFAS helps Floridians launch food business dreams

Sharlay Smith put the idea of opening a business in the backburner, thinking it might not be feasible. But with the help of UF/IFAS Extension courses, she was able to make The Lentil House a profitable business that sells a Smith family favorite in Whole Foods stores across the state.
