UF Trustees unanimously appoint Dr. Donald W. Landry interim president

The University of Florida Board of Trustees voted unanimously to appoint Donald W. Landry, Ph.D., as interim president of the University of Florida. Landry, chair emeritus of Columbia University’s Department of Medicine, is an internationally renowned physician-scientist, president of the American Academy of Sciences and Letters and a recipient of the Presidential Citizens Medal, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor.
