Ongoing stress left unchecked can lead us to feel less productive, creative and engaged at both work and home. While we might not be able to eliminate stress in our lives completely, the steps we take to develop healthy habits will positively impact us in the long run.
In recognition of Stress Awareness Month, explore our list of UF resources designed to help you manage some of life’s stressors.
Events & Resources
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Take advantage of six free counseling sessions per year per event, with one of three dedicated therapists. Appointments can be scheduled both in-person and via telehealth.
UF Mindfulness: Register for a UF Mindfulness workshop, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom, or visit the Harn Museum of Art for in-person sessions, coming up April 26 and May 24 at 10 a.m.
Resilience & Emotional Well-Being Toolkit: Packed with practical tip cards and curated resources, this toolkit offers guidance on regulating emotions, coping with anxiety and practicing self-care, among other essential topics.
Mindfulness resources: From on-demand guided meditations to live mindfulness trainings, explore mindfulness resources offered by a variety of UF departments.
Minimizing Stress and Burnout: Sign up for this Calm Health workshop on April 23 at 10 a.m. Participants will learn the difference between stress and burnout, identify their stressors and discuss ways to minimize them in their daily routines.
