Florida Museum of Natural History: On Nov. 11, veterans will receive a free value admission to the Butterfly Rainforest and other temporary exhibits.

Events & Celebrations
The official Marion County Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. Bring your lawn chairs to Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park and pay tribute to all who honorably served in America’s Armed Forces.
Join UF/IFAS on Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon for the final Family Fishing Day of the season, complete with a Veterans Day BBQ and Sharon Fitz-Coy Memorial.
Join Heroes on the Water (HOW) for kayaking, fishing and a BBQ lunch at Browns Creek Fish Camp in Jacksonville, FL – Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and his Veterans Advisory Council will honor the courageous men and women of the armed forces at the 24th annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade in downtown Orlando – Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The annual Give Thanks Music Festival – A Salute to Veterans returns to Homestead Park in Williston, FL – Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Join for live music, veteran resources, an American classic car and truck show, food and craft vendors and more!
The Gainesville Community Band, directed by R. Gary Langford, will present a Veterans Day Concert for a Cause at First Presbyterian Church on Nov. 12 at 4 p.m.
