Understanding vaccine hesitancy

Center for Public Interest Communications Director Ann Christiano was recently interviewed by Central Florida’s NPR station 90.7 WMFE regarding vaccine hesitancy. In the interview, Christiano explained her research into why people choose not to get a COVID vaccine, and what might help change their minds. Christiano said the key to getting buy-in for vaccinations is to listen to people’s concerns about the vaccine and acknowledge the reasons why they may be afraid or reluctant to get a shot.
