Vaccine boosters recommended for those over 50
Following the updated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, certain immunocompromised individuals and people over the age of 50 who received an initial booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least four months ago are eligible for another mRNA booster to increase their protection against severe disease from COVID-19.
Faculty, staff and students can schedule their vaccine appointment via ONE.UF or by visiting the UF Health website to identify vaccine availability and booster locations.
