Sick Leave Pool enrollment is open through Oct. 31

Accrued sick leave is unfortunately sometimes not enough to cover an unexpected or prolonged illness. For this reason, UFHR offers a Sick Leave Pool as a way for employees to combine a portion of their individually accrued sick leave for collective use. Qualifying UF employees may apply for membership in the Sick Leave Pool now through Oct. 31.

Requirements:

• Must be TEAMS, USPS, law enforcement or faculty
• Must donate eight (8) hours of sick leave
• Must have 64 hours of accrued personal sick leave
