New integrated travel and PCard system coming in April

On April 3, the UF CFO’s Office will introduce UF GO, a new unified travel and PCard system that will reinvent and streamline how the UF community manages all aspects of travel and expense reimbursements. The new system is mobile-friendly and features mobile receipt-capture, which eliminates the need for paper receipts, as well as on-the-go expense report submission, a booking tool with 24/7 travel agency support, currency conversion, a receipt translation tool, an e-receipts option for use with major travel suppliers, a mileage calculator and much more.

All faculty and staff who travel and/or are PCard holders will take a brief introductory training course to orient them to the new system. The training, UGO100: Introduction to UF GO, is available now in myTraining. For those who will serve as financial approvers and/or delegate approvers, the training course UGO200 is also available and a new security role will be required.

Countdown to UF GO-live

In the weeks ahead, the UF GO project team will also be offering “Countdown to UF GO-live” webinars to provide timely information and answer any questions. Two sessions are designed for those who will touch the system most frequently — including fiscal staff and administrators, who are encouraged to attend or watch both sessions.

  • Session 1: Wednesday, March 15, 2-3 p.m. will focus on initial steps to prepare your unit for go-live.

Special Q&A session for faculty

In addition, a live webinar designed exclusively for faculty who wish to learn more and ask questions will be held on Friday, March 24, from 10-11 a.m. Faculty who participate in this live session will automatically fulfill the UGO100 training requirement and be granted access to the new system when it goes live on April 3.
