Sign up for UF’s CSA discount program
The UF Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, program is offering discounted CSA memberships starting this fall semester for Frog Song Organics and Siembra Farm. Faculty and staff can visit the Worklife at UF website to sign up today.
By joining a CSA, you support a local farm and receive a family or individual box of high-quality produce. Pickup and delivery options are available in multiple Florida counties.

Sign up for a wellness app
Subscriptions to the WeightWatchers and Calm Health apps are still available. Faculty and staff are invited to sign up for the app that best meets their needs.
WeightWatchers: A personalized weight-loss app tailored to your lifestyle. In-app features include meal planning tools, a healthy recipe directory, tracking features, on-demand workouts, an exclusive member-only digital community, behavior-change audio lessons and more.
Calm Health: In addition to pre-recorded audio content designed to help manage stress, anxiety, and insomnia, Calm Health offers evidence-based programs and resources developed by psychologists to strengthen the connection between mental and physical health.
Find support for life’s challenges
The UF Employee Assistance Program offers free therapy sessions along with a collection of on-demand resources to help you navigate life’s challenges. UF employees and their spouse or domestic partner who live in the State of Florida can benefit from six free sessions per year per issue.
Schedule an appointment with one of three dedicated therapists, available for both in-person and virtual sessions.
Participate in a fitness class
Add some movement to your day — participate in a free fitness class for faculty and staff! Classes are held in-person and are open to all fitness levels throughout the semester.
Check out the lineup of classes:
- Cycling: Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in the Student Recreation and Fitness Center, beginning Sept. 4
- Yoga:
- Tuesdays from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. in the Ustler Hall Atrium, beginning Sept. 2.
- Wednesdays from 12:15 to 1 p.m. in Smathers Library room 100, beginning Sept. 10.
- Zumba: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in the UF Health Professional Park building.

Benefits open enrollment begins Oct. 13 and runs through Oct. 31. Open enrollment is your opportunity to add, change or remove benefit selections for the next plan year. Make sure your email and mailing addresses are up-to-date in ONE.UF to avoid missing important communications.

UF departments can select from a variety of wellness workshops, presented by Well at UF, the Employee Assistance Program and GatorCare.
Well at UF
Well at UF presentations provide an overview of wellness programs available to UF faculty and staff, including on-demand resources and an overview of the Employee Assistance Program. Presentations are approximately 45 minutes long and can be conducted either in person or virtually. Click here to request a presentation for your department.
Introduction to Mindfulness for Departments
Bring mindfulness to your department! Learn about the myths and realities of mindfulness and how to incorporate it into your daily routine. This is a one-hour presentation and departments can add up to four supplementary 45-minute sessions. Complete this form to request a presentation for your department.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program, or EAP, offers presentations on the following topics:
- Managing Grief in the Workplace
- Conflict in the Workplace
- Identifying and Supporting a Colleague in Crisis
- Combating Burnout
- Supporting Physicians’ Wellness
- Stress Management Strategies
Presentations can be customized depending on department needs, can be held in person or virtually, are up to an hour and include a Q&A portion. Complete this form to schedule an EAP presentation.
GatorCare
GatorCare workshops can be conducted online or in person and include topics like meal prepping, stress management, meditation and mindful eating. Presentations range from 15 to 90 minutes, depending on department needs. Visit the GatorCare website to explore available presentations.
