Whether you are taking a walk during your lunch break, gardening or engaging in light exercises, introducing physical activity into your daily routine can help you improve your physical and mental health.
To help you get started, and in recognition of Move More Month, we’ve compiled a list of resources designed to get you moving more for better health.
Faculty and staff fitness classes: Faculty and staff can participate in yoga, Zumba, Pilates and stadium classes held in-person at UF. Can’t attend in-person? Check out the virtual fitness classes you can livestream from the comfort of your own home.
Campus walking maps: Whether you have six minutes or an hour, explore the University of Florida campus with these walking maps.
Take 10: Take 10 minutes out of your day to work on your health. Explore resources to get you started!

Mindful Walking series: Provided by Calm, this series offers a range of tools to help you cultivate mindfulness during your walks. You’ll find guided practices, music, soundscapes and movement exercises to help you stay present and connected with your surroundings. Don’t have Calm?
