Faculty and staff who need business-related transportation to meetings, work assignments and other destinations can schedule rides to and from these locations with the free Campus Cab taxi service from Transportation and Parking Services.

Changes announced to weekend and holiday on-call rate

Effective March 1, the on-call rate for employees who are assigned on-call on Saturday, Sunday and/or a university holiday or official closing will change to a flat rate of one-third of the university’s minimum wage, or $4.


COMPASS releases 4 and 5 this month

This month, COMPASS releases 4 and 5 will go live, affecting approximately 1,300 UF staff and faculty across campus, as well as the thousands of students who use ONE.UF as a self-service access point.


New required training goes into effect for researchers using IRB-02 and IRB-03

In order to meet Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc. requirements for IRB-related training, new training will be required beginning March 8.


People First premium underpayment processing changes

Beginning this month, UF will begin collecting premium underpayments of up to one month’s premium for state plans via payroll deduction. Employees will no longer need to mail checks to People First.
