COVID-19 Public Health Emergency expires May 11

The State Employee’s Prescription Drug Plan coverage for over-the-counter, or OTC, COVID-19 tests will expire on May 11, when the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ends. Medically appropriate COVID-19 testing, vaccinations and telehealth services will be covered in accordance with your health plan policy.

The UF community is encouraged to take advantage of the current benefits prior to May 11. Visit the UF Health website to find vaccine locations, and reach out to your local pharmacy to request OTC test kits.
